FEM ANALYSIS
The RCO52 model was first modeled in Rhinoceros software, designing all shells , beams and stiffeners obtained from ISO rules scantling.
Following the model is imported in HyperMesh software to be meshed and analyze all point of contact and all mesh sizing for each element.
MATERIAL AND THICNKESS
The whole boat is deisgned to be built in aluminum 5083 H111-H116 and 6082 with different thickness.

The final shells and stiffeners design belongs to ISO rules ISO12215 and optimized for each part of the boat to have the best compromise between strength and lightness.
Following the mechanical properties of the material used and the final list of thickness, profiles and rinforcment used for the scantling and FEM analysis model.
